Accounting
- An Introduction
Introduces students
to the fundamentals of accounting, including the accounting equation,
double-entry system of accounting, journalizing and posting, the
trial balance, and financial statements. This is a two-day, instructor-led
course with two hours of additional exercises. [6 hours]
Calculator
Simulation (Independent Study)
Students will learn
how to process business financial documents, compile requested
data, and solve practical business problems through the use of
calculators. [30 hours]
QuickBooks
- Introduction
This course is comprised
of a one-hour instructor-led presentation that covers the various
features of QuickBooks followed by 14 hours of lab time during
which the students learn more about QuickBooks using a comprehensive
learning guide that uses true-life examples that teach the accounting
tasks regularly used in business. [15 hours]
Ten-Key
by Touch (Independent Study)
Through independent
study, students will learn how to use an electronic calculator
to solve business problems. Study also includes learning the keypad
by touch. [10 hours]
