Foundations: Skill Building

Basic Office Skills
This six-week program is designed to enable students to gain marketable skills in the general office. Basic Office Skills focuses on employing computer and clerical skills for the entry-level clerical position. Entry into this program requires the student to pass an “Assessment exam” with 70% or greater. This will improve the student’s learning experience and provide greater value for their educational investment.

Basic Skills Prep

This three-week series is designed to enable students to gain an entry level understanding of the computer and its functionality. This precursor program introduces the computer “novice” to some basic elements of typing, basic business math, and using the elements of the computer (mouse, Windows environment, etc.). Students will be given an assessment exam to determine preparedness for other Career Choices programs. Call for series course work.
