Professionalism in the Workplace Workshop
Half-Day Workshop (4 hours)

This one-day workshop encompasses building all of the skills that are necessary in the professional office such as workplace etiquette, success in your career, organizing and balancing your life, professional self-esteem, telephone etiquette, enhancing your image, interpersonal communications skill building, and conflict resolution.
These key elements are important to success in the workplace. Join us for a day of great training and networking.

Basic Web Design

Prerequisite: Basic Computer Literacy (70% or greater in Computer Literacy testing)
Students are introduced the fundamentals of web design and creating Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML) based websites. This class provides the basics of designing, creating, formatting, and editing a website. It provides the essential skills necessary to create a website ready for use on the internet.

Job Search

5-hour Instructor-Led Course/Workshop

Students will learn to identify and evaluate available positions, develop career goals and to prepare a professional resume and cover letter. Students will also participate in the interview process and learn to be effective in business networking!

Business Communication

4-hours, Instructor Led Course

Students will learn generally accepted formats for business communications. Students will apply good grammar techniques to business communications and gain a solid understand of formatting. (letter, memo, faxes, e-mail and report formatting).

Worldwide Web (Internet)

4-hour Instructor-Led Workshop

Students will learn to navigate and understand the Internet, Worldwide Web. Students will gain an understanding of conducting basic searches on the internet, creating security levels for websites and its applications in the real world business setting.
